“This was one of the most rewarding and cup-filling experiences of my life. The Lord put so many people and opportunities in my life that I would’ve never had if He hadn’t led me to the island.
It was so amazing to see, firsthand, the mutual transformation and local empowerment that GO talks so much about. GO makes each local, intern, and group feel like they are the only ones on the island, while also providing opportunities that will have an impact bigger on the community than anyone could imagine.
To literally be the hands and feet of Jesus is so humbling. None of the work we do on the island is of our own accord, but is all for the glory of God. This internship has been one of the biggest steps in my life to truly learn what it means to love and serve as Jesus did through His ministry.“
