“My time in the Dominican Republic revived me. I came home with more energy, a clear reminder of what I am passionate about, a new sense of who l am, and a renewed faith in God.
As I look back on this summer, I can see how God purposefully put new people, new experiences, and new challenges in my life in order to bring me back to Him. I thought this summer would look like me serving others, but the communities and people that I met taught me how to serve.
God is so present in the kids, pastors, families, and churches in the DR. I am so excited to go home fully knowing that God is also present back home. I was sad to leave, but those five and a half weeks have revived my passion for being a witness for the Gospel wherever God leads me.“
