Join us March 1st to help us Build a Legacy!
“Building A Legacy”
2nd Annual Louisville Dinner Gala
Benefiting the GO Seminary of the Americas
Our current capacity if we had 5 cohorts would be 15 per cohort due to space. That means we would have a maximum of 75 full time students at any given semester. Due to the time commitment and inability to earn a solid living committing 2-4 days out of the week (4 days for those traveling from outside of Santiago) our full time students are limited. We have graduated 16 students representing two cohorts thus far. We currently have 35 enrolled in the full time program (1300 hours of instruction time) spread across 5 cohorts. In addition we have two cohorts in the Apollos Project (150 hours of instruction time for lay leaders) numbering 35 at the Seminary proper. We have the Prison Apollos Project in two prisons with 2 cohorts numbering 35 and 22.
The LDC GO Seminary location will allow us to increase our full time student capacity to at least 396 students with residential space for up to 24 women and 72 men. Combined with the work study program based on working on the LDC campus many students will no longer be limited by the need for work as work can be scheduled around their seminary requirements. As our church planting movement grows many planters will have seminary training as part of their weekly duties which will also make the financial issues they face no longer a barrier.
